AmPiBi (Alumni Pendidikan Biologi)

Brief History

The process of forming an alumni association began in 2010. Through online platforms, an alumni network called AmPiBi was established as a means of interaction among graduates. The formal effort to establish an official alumni association commenced in 2015. A gathering was held in the Hall of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Tanjungpura, coinciding with the month of Ramadan. The event brought together lecturers, students, and alumni in the spirit of togetherness, with the aim of forming an official organisation to represent and support alumni of the Bachelor Programme of Biology Education.

AmPiBi was officially established on 23 June 2015 under Decree Number: 1068/UN22.6/KM/2015. The organisational structure is as follows:

Secretary : Icha Monika, S.Pd

Treasurer : Yulia, S.Pd

The first activity carried out by AmPiBi was a visit to an orphanage, which coincided with the month of Ramadan. This activity was conducted in collaboration with Himbio. The visit took place on Sunday, 5 July 2015, at the orphanage.

During the visit to the orphanage, AmPiBi and Himbio provided donations consisting of Rp 1,802,100 in cash, 18 boxes of clothing, 3 boxes of food, 1 box of stationery, and 1 sack containing curtains, bed sheets, and dolls.
