The Bachelor Programme of Biology Educationi consistently engages in collaborations with various higher education institutions. These partnerships are implemented through programmes in the areas of education, research, and community service, carried out each semester. One example of the implementation of such collaboration between the Bachelor Programme of Biology Education in Universitas Tanjungpura and other universities was through the supervision and examination of thesis proposal seminars or undergraduate thesis defences of students participating in the MBKM Research programme, held on 2 January 2024.
This implementation was carried out through the undergraduate article defence session, involving external examiners, namely Dr Dian Akbarini, S.Si., M.Si., a lecturer from Universitas Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung and Head of the Agriculture and Food Security Office of Central Bangka Regency, as well as Ms Ary Kusmawati, S.Si., M.Pd., from the Provincial Education and Culture Office of West Kalimantan. The objective of involving external examiners is to equip the students of the Bachelor Programme of Biology Education with critical and analytical thinking skills, and to enhance their competitiveness in applying science and technology in the field of education. Below are several documentation highlights from the undergraduate thesis examination with external examiners.
