Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology No. 53 of 2023 concerning Quality Assurance in Higher Education, Article 18, students are required to complete a final project in order to graduate from a bachelor's degree programme. One of the final project options is writing a thesis. There are several stages that students must go through to complete this thesis, one of which is the proposal seminar. In the implementation of student proposal seminars, the Bachelor Programme of Biology Education consistently collaborates with various higher education institutions.

One form of implementing the collaboration between the Bachelor Programme of Biology Education in Universitas Tanjungpura and other universities is through the supervision and examination of student proposal seminars. On Wednesday, 24 January 2024, two students are scheduled to present their thesis proposals. The seminar will involve a lecturer from an external university, Dr Murni Ramli, S.P., M.Si., Ed.D., a lecturer in the Biology Education Study Programme at Universitas Sebelas Maret. The purpose of this proposal seminar is for students to receive constructive feedback from both their supervisors and examiners in order to refine the research plan that will later become the focus of their thesis.
